Winter fog in Delhi
From December to February, morning fog can delay flights from Delhi. Keep a buffer before and after your travel dates, and check your flight status before leaving for the airport.
Reaching the airport
Most international flights leave from Terminal 3. From Noida, Ghaziabad or Gurugram, allow for traffic and plan to arrive at least three to four hours before departure.
Documents you need
- Indian passport valid for at least 6 months from the travel date
- Recent photos with a white background
- Meningitis (ACYW) vaccination certificate, required by Saudi Arabia
- Women under 45 without a mahram: ask us about the current rules

Which months are best for Umrah from Delhi?
November to February is cooler in Makkah and Madinah, which suits elderly pilgrims, but keep fog delays in mind. Ramadan dates fill early, so book two to three months ahead.
