From your first message to their return

  1. Tell us what you needYour parents’ city, preferred month and health needs. We reply with dates and live prices.
  2. We meet your parentsOur team explains everything in Urdu, Hindi, Telugu or English and collects their documents, in person in Hyderabad or by courier from other cities.
  3. You pay from the USAThe invoice and receipt come to you by WhatsApp and email.
  4. Visa, Nusuk and bookingsWe complete the Umrah visa, Nusuk registration, flights and hotels, and send you copies.
  5. Journey updatesThe group leader meets your parents at the departure airport, and you get updates at every stage.

Our office and daily departures are in Hyderabad, and we also arrange Umrah groups from other Indian cities. Choose your parents’ city to see dates, hotels and live prices.

Keeping in touch from US time zones

India is 9½ hours ahead of New York and 12½ hours ahead of California during daylight saving, one hour more in winter. When your parents finish Fajr in Makkah, it is usually late evening on the East Coast. Tell us your preferred time for the daily WhatsApp update.

Paying from the USA

Pay by international wire from your US bank to our account in India, or a family member can pay in rupees at our Hyderabad office. Packages are priced in rupees and your bank converts from US dollars. Your receipt arrives on WhatsApp.

Travel together

Joining your parents from America

If you can take a week or two off, fly from the USA to Jeddah or Madinah and meet your parents’ group in Saudi Arabia. We book your hotel in the same building and arrange your airport transfer. Many families plan this around Thanksgiving, winter break or spring break.

  • US passport holders can usually apply for the Saudi tourist eVisa, which allows Umrah outside the Hajj season.
  • Indian passport holders with a US green card or valid US visa may also qualify for the Saudi eVisa. Send us your details and we will check.

Questions from families in the USA

My parents have never travelled abroad. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Many of our pilgrims travel abroad for the first time. We brief them before departure, and the group leader guides them through the airports and immigration in Saudi Arabia.

Can my parents travel with relatives or friends?

Yes. Relatives and friends can book the same departure, and we can arrange shared rooms so the family stays together.

Which is better for elderly parents, 7 days or 15 days?

For parents over 60 we usually suggest the 15-day package. It allows rest between visits to the Haram and time in both Makkah and Madinah. The 7-day package suits parents who are fit and short of time.

Can I pay in US dollars?

Packages are priced in Indian rupees. You send an international wire from your US bank, which converts from dollars, or a family member pays in rupees at our office.

What happens if my parent falls ill during the trip?

The group leader helps them reach a clinic or hospital and informs you and our Hyderabad office straight away. We recommend travel insurance, which we can arrange when you book.
