Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains when and how money is refunded for services booked with Yaseen Overseas, Hyderabad. Many of our services depend on governments, embassies, airlines and hotels, whose own rules apply. The exact terms for your booking are written on your quotation or booking confirmation; where they differ from this page, the booking confirmation applies.

1. Visas and e-visas

  • Government visa fees, embassy fees and visa centre charges are not refundable once the application has been submitted, whether the visa is approved or refused.
  • Visa approval is decided only by the embassy or immigration authority of the destination country. A refusal is not a reason for a refund of fees already paid to them.
  • If you cancel before we submit your application, we refund the amount received minus our service charge for work already done (checking documents, filling forms, booking appointments).
  • If we cannot apply because of a mistake on our side, we refund the full amount you paid us.

2. Umrah and Hajj packages

  • Air tickets, visas, hotels and transport are booked with suppliers as soon as you confirm. Cancellation charges follow the rules of each airline, hotel and supplier, as written on your booking confirmation.
  • Group air tickets are usually non-refundable. Umrah and Hajj visa fees are not refundable once the visa is applied for.
  • Hajj bookings follow the rules of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia and the Government of India for that season.
  • If you cancel, we refund what we recover from the suppliers, minus our service charge, and send you the breakdown.

3. Holiday packages

  • Cancellation charges depend on how close to departure you cancel and on the airline, hotel and tour supplier rules shown on your quotation.
  • Non-refundable hotel rates, flight tickets, visas and activity tickets are not refundable once booked.
  • Changes of date or name are made where the suppliers allow them; their change fees are charged at cost.

4. Air tickets

  • Refunds, date changes and cancellations follow the fare rules of the airline. Airline penalties and our service charge are deducted from any refund.
  • Refunds are made after the airline releases the money to us.

5. Certificate attestation and apostille

  • State, MEA, embassy and ministry fees are not refundable once a document has been submitted.
  • If you cancel before your documents are submitted, we return the documents and refund the amount minus our service charge for work already done.

6. How refunds are paid

  • Refunds are paid only to the account from which the payment was received, by bank transfer or UPI.
  • We aim to pay within 7 to 10 working days after we receive the money back from the airline, hotel or other supplier.
  • We send you a written breakdown of the amount refunded and any charges deducted.

7. How to ask for a cancellation or refund

  • Send your request by email to [email protected] or on WhatsApp, with your name, booking or reference number (for visas, the VISA- or VQ- reference) and the reason.
  • The date we receive your written request is the date used to calculate cancellation charges.
