Entry Requirements for All Foreigners
Visa application is required for citizens / passport holders of the following countries:
Nationals of Assessment Level I Countries
India, Myanmar, People’s Republic of China, Holders of Hong Kong Document of Identity, Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Travel Permit, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Commonwealth of Independent States (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea
Nationals of Assessment Level II Countries
Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, and holders of Palestinian Authority Passport, Temporary Passport issued by the United Arab Emirates and Refugee Travel Document issued by Middle-East countries
VISA APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY INTO SINGAPORE FOR UK AND IRELAND
British and Irish passport holders do not require visas to visit Singapore for a stay of less than one month, if they have a passport valid for at least 6 months upon entry, a confirmed onward return ticket and sufficient funds for their stay in Singapore.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
The applicant must complete and sign Form 14A and submit it along with the following documents:
- One recent passport-sized colour photograph taken within the last 3 months. The photograph must be in colour and taken against a white background with a matt or semi-matt finish. Image must show the full face and without headgear (headgear worn in accordance with religious or racial customs is acceptable but must not hide facial features)
- Original passport together with photocopies of the relevant pages (bio-data page, valid UK visa/residence permit in the UK, visa endorsement to your next destination after Singapore)
Please ensure that, at the time of submission, the passport is valid for at least 6 months upon your arrival date in Singapore
- A photocopy of your return/onward ticket/flight*/cruise itinerary (*showing the flight numbers, dates of entry into & out of Singapore)
- You must pay a fee of £15.00, and any service charges may include official translations of documents that are not in English
- Coloured Photograph : Two matt-finished, coloured photographs with white background. It should be an 80% face close up and 35mm x 45mm in size. The photograph should not be older than 3 months. Please ensure the photos are new, do not include specs, and that teeth are not visible. Ears and eyes must be clearly visible. Do not wear any caps; if wearing a religious cap, ensure the ears are visible
- Cover Letter : Accommodation address should be mentioned on covering letter (Covering letter from Applicant stating name of the applicant, designation, nationality, passport number, purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and saying that all the expenses including medical, boarding and lodging will be borne by the Applicant. If the applicant is traveling with someone, include their name, relationship to the applicant, occupation, and passport details in the cover letter
Invitee docs (If someone is inviting from Singapore
Invitation Letter:
The invitee must provide an invitation letter that includes the following details:- Name of the applicant
- Designation
- Nationality
- Passport number
- Purpose of visit
- Period of stay with dates
- Details of expenses covered by the invitee
Additionally, include a copy of the invitee’s passport.
If the invitee is not a citizen, a copy of a valid residence permit is needed.

- Invitee is holding a (S/T Pass) then V39 form mandatory required
